Hair Transplantation - Eyebrow Restoration
The eyebrows anatomically separate the skin of the forehead from that of the upper eyelid. Their correct shape and size frames the eye and emphasizes the look, while their height is directly linked to the youthfulness of the face.
Eyebrows are subject to fashion trends, as a result, while in the past bushy eyebrows disappeared, today thin or sparse eyebrows are enhanced. The only permanent and safe way to achieve this is with a hair follicle transplant.
The
technique is performed by extracting single hair follicles (follicular unit
extraction- FUE) from a donor area on the back surface of the skull and
transplanting them (follicular unit transplantation- FUT) to the pre-planned
recipient area. The final shape of the eyebrows is designed together with the
patient.
The
operation: is performed under local anesthesia, lasts from 1 to 2 hours,
depending on the number of hair follicles transferred (150 to 300 grafts) and
is performed with the help of special microtransplantation tools and magnifying
lenses. The hair follicles are moved one by one to their final position and are
all single to achieve a natural effect. There are no incisions or stitches and
the patient does not get a haircut.
The
purpose of the operation is: to immediately restore the outline of the
eyebrows.
