What you need to know before treatment:
1) At
the 1st appointment, a clinical examination is performed and the doctor checks
your photo, the presence of discoloration, brown spots, moles and your type of
hair growth. You will then be informed of the expected number of sessions and
their cost.
2) For
the treatment to be effective, a period of at least 4 weeks must have passed
since the waxing or depilatory machine and the area must have been shaved well
a few hours before the application of the laser.
3)
Avoid using deodorants or cosmetic creams before the treatment.
4) In
case there is irritation or inflammation of the skin, it is necessary to carry
out the appropriate treatment and then to follow the application of the laser.
5) You
must be aware that you will avoid exposure to strong sunlight for the next 4
days.
6) You
must stock up on moisturizer and sunscreen without dyes, fragrances, mineral
oils.

What to do after treatment
1)
Hair removal treatments at THEOPLASTICS clinic are relatively painless and
extremely quick. However, there is a possibility that you may experience
erythema or perifollicular swelling. These subside within a few hours.
2) To
avoid discoloration after the laser treatment, it is recommended to use a
sunscreen with a high protection index for the next 4-5 days and avoid
sunbathing and solarium. Our clinic recommends the use of sunscreen throughout
the year.
3)
Laser hair removal treatments cause dry skin. For this reason, you are advised
to use moisturizer on the treated areas.
4)
Your 2nd appointment should be in 4 to 6 weeks. The total treatment is usually
6-8 sessions, provided that there are no endocrinological problems or you have
hirsutism. In difficult cases we can reach up to 12 treatments. The aim of each
treatment is to reduce the number of ingrown hairs by 15-20% per session.
5)
Treatments are scheduled every 4-6 weeks, regardless of when the hair appears.
You have the option to shave the areas in between.
6)
